We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Special Events Associate. In this role, you will play a key part in the planning, coordination, and execution of fundraising events, ensuring they are successful and impactful. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong interest in event management and a desire to make a difference through their work.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and organization of fundraising events, including logistics, venue coordination, and vendor management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop event concepts, themes, and agendas that align with client goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate event logistics, such as securing permits, arranging transportation, and managing event timelines.
  • Communicate with clients, vendors, sponsors, and volunteers to ensure smooth coordination and execution of events.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of event marketing strategies to promote attendance and participation.
  • Provide on-site support during events, including setup, registration, and attendee assistance.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and analysis, gathering feedback and insights to inform future event planning and improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of event details, expenses, and contacts for future reference and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Previous experience in event planning, fundraising, or nonprofit organizations is a plus but not required.
  • Passion for making a positive impact and contributing to meaningful causes through event fundraising efforts.
