As an Accounts Payable Coordinator , you will be working within the larger Accounting Department and be responsible for handling vender payments, investigating payment discrepancies, and filing other financial records.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an accounting role; preferably handling accounts payable.
- Minimum 1 years' experience using CargoWise One ERP system is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Research, track, and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Scan and sort invoices, checks, deposits, account statements, and other financial files.
- Process high volumes of bills for payment and issue checks.
- Open mail and match payments to invoices.
- Record business transactions and key daily worksheets in the general ledger system.
- Review statements and payments for accuracy.
- Ensure vendor acceptance of payments or refunds.
- Assist vendors with questions on outstanding invoices.
- Work with internal teams such as AR, General Expense, Freight Release, and others to resolve AP responsibilities.
- $22-$28/hour dependent on transferable experience and education level.
- Hybrid work schedule (1-day a week working from home); laptop provided by OEC Group
