Description

This job requires a willingness to learn; a person who likes to work outside and who has a passion for the industry. This position touches all aspects of the projects we install, from roof mounted solar systems to solar farms. You will be required to help others construct solar systems, working on such things as digging, constructing racking, and installing solar modules. To be successful in this job you will need to be able to show up to work on time, ready to work with some basic tools, and be able and willing to travel out of town. This job is not for the faint of heart. This is a great position if you are motivated and looking for a temporary job, a summer position, or acquire the necessary skills needed to start a new career Solar in the Industry! 

Requirements

• Be sure there is safe working environment for all people on site. 
• Have all materials & tools (from the company's required tool list) packed and ready for the day to keep jobs on schedule and on budget. 
• Help electricians and other installers dig trenches, install cables, pull wire, hang boxes and other installation tasks 
• Pick up materials as needed from the supply house to have well before a job starts. 
• Use tools on site to properly install solar PV system to manufacturer's standards
• Make sure all work areas are clean from all trash before you leave each day. 
• Must be able to travel out of town. 
• Must be able to lift 80 pounds 
• Keep trucks and shop clean and organized daily - clean out trucks daily. Put away tools and materials daily 
• Get jobs done in the time allotted to meet schedule & wear all PPE 
• Arrive on time, ready to work with all tools that are required for them to do your job 
• Any other tasks that may be assigned to you.
