Odyssey Services Corp is Hiring a Small Business Consultant Near Phoenix, AZ
Job description
Do you enjoy helping others? Do you like to teach and mentor? Odyssey Services Corp is a social services agency contracted through AZDES looking for professional candidates to help our clients with disabilities create and write a business plan.
You would assisting our clients with:
- Complete self employment readiness questionnaire
- Complete proposed business concept overview
- Assess clients readiness to run a self sustaining business
- Assist client with creating and writing a business plan
- Assist client with preparing financial forecast for two years
- Assist client with preparing to present their business plan
This 1099 position- Subcontractor Position is perfect for anyone that already has their own benefits and looking to make extra money part time. The role requires the ability to research, networking skills, great time management, as well as the ability to write grammatically correct reports. We pay excellent wages depending on experience!
Pay Frequency: Monthly
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in business field preferred
- Experience in writing business plans.
- Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Your own computer with MS OFFICE WORD to complete monthly client reports
- A Level 1 Fingerprint Card (or ability to obtain one)
- Ability to pass annual background check & E-Verify
- Reliable transportation & communication (minimal travel to conduct meetings)
- You must be independently self-motivated and know how to use your time efficiently

Pay: $40.00 -$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week

- Day shift
- Evenings as needed

Experience:
- Working with people with disabilities: 1 year (Required)
- Workforce development: 1 year (Required)
- Writing business plans : 1 year Required
License/Certification:
- Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (Required)
