Salary Range:$58,500.00-70,000.00

Who our Social Worker Is:

• You have a passion for providing individual and group counseling services on a wide range of clinical and community issues for individuals in residential treatment to address a substance use disorder.
• You believe that consumers and their families should have access to community resources and services related to substance use, legal, mental health, medical and vocational/educational needs.
• Assuring that family members are involved in community reintegration is something that you feel very passionately about.
• You are a patient, polite, positive and dedicated team member.
• You have excellent people skills and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• You are attentive to clients and team members alike.
• Working a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends or holidays when needed doesn’t bother you.

What our Social Worker Needs:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy 
• One (1) year experience working in a social service setting providing group counseling, family therapy and case management with chemically dependent clients preferred;
• NYS Licensure as a Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor or Marriage and Family Therapist preferred. Individuals obtaining a limited permit will be considered meeting this requirement.
• Proficiency with computer operation (Microsoft Word, Excel, Electronic Health Records, and Outlook programs).
