Position Description: The Claims Specialist is responsible for the coverage analysis, investigation, negotiation, and settlement of professional liability claims.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of claims experience managing professional liability claims. Experience handling architects & engineers, insurance agents, real estate appraisers and/or lawyers’ claims a plus.
• Experience handling claims on a nationwide basis, with a concentration in California and Florida.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Must possess proficient writing and presentation skills.
• Must be able to partner with our Program administrators to support program growth.
• Bachelor’s degree required, JD preferred.

In New York City, NY the pay range for the role is $115,00 to $125,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. In addition, Hudson/Odyssey offers a comprehensive benefits package. This range is specific to New York City, NY and may not be applicable to other locations.
