Odyssey Behavioral Health is Hiring a Marketing Manager, Eating Disorder Near Brentwood, TN

Position Summary

The Marketing Manager, Eating Disorder Network works closely with Facility/Clinic Leadership, Business Development, Admissions, and key leaders or stakeholders in support of strategic marketing activities. This position supports marketing initiatives that support growth across all of Odyssey Behavioral Healthcare’s (OBH) eating disorder network, residential facilities, and outpatient clinics.

Relationships and Contacts

Within the organization: Initiates and maintains frequent and close working relationships with eating disorder facility/clinic Leadership, Business Development, Admissions, key Odyssey leadership, and the Marketing Team.

Outside the organization: Initiates and maintains frequent and close working relationships with vendors, agencies, associations, and advertisers.

Position Responsibilities

This role’s responsibilities are focused around four key areas, along with other duties as assigned, that fall underneath the following overall scope of this position:

Own the planning and execution of all marketing initiatives that support ongoing call and admission growth at our eating disorder residential and outpatient locations and the continued optimization of marketing activities through reporting, benchmarking, and testing.

Marketing Campaigns and Volume Drivers

  • Owns the development of network wide, multi-channel campaigns for specific personas, resulting in increased web traffic, first-time contacts, and admissions.
  • Identify opportunities, based on data, and create strategic action plans to address and report on impact.
  • Partner with facility leadership and the marketing team to ensure facility web pages, collateral, and other assets are up-to-date and accurate by adjusting yourself or partnering with appropriate internal/external resources to update.
  • Coordinate the creation, review, or production of branded promotional materials, collateral, templates, assets, and additional items to support each brand and location.


Optimization and Reporting

  • Measure and report on the performance of campaign, event, and marketing initiatives against goals and defined KPIs. Stays curious with data and A/B testing to evaluate, bring forward, and implement ways to continually improve performance and results.
  • Partner with admissions, business development, and others in ways that create consistent feedback loops for identifying opportunities for optimization, clarity, and enhancements.


Additional Responsibilities

  • Researches eating disorder, mental health, and substance use facts and sources to enhance communications/marketing.
  • Evaluate national and local competitors to provide competitive updates and marketing insights that can capture additional market share, enhance innovation, and improve volume growth.
  • Maintains messaging and branding consistency across online platforms (directories, websites, etc.).
  • Assists in the training, onboarding, and ongoing support for new and current marketing team members.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements


Education and Experience

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, marketing, communications, or related field, and a minimum of 5 years’ of related experience in a corporate or agency environment.

  • Tolerant to various noise levels: noise level in the work environment varies, ranging from very quiet to moderate
  • Job performance will require the ability to move throughout the building as well as sit or remain stationary for extended periods of time
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to talk or hear, sit, stand, walk, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, taste or smell.
  • Ability to move 25 pounds

Other Requirements

Position requires incumbent to have a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance and a clear driving record for the last three years.

  • Demonstrates a passion for building something new, learning, digging in, and finding solutions is necessary for success in developing and scaling the eating disorder network’s residential facilities and outpatient locations.
  • Demonstrates a curiosity with data and uses it to inform actions that need to be taken, along with communicating it to others in a way that they can easily understand.
  • Demonstrates excellent project management skills required by being proactive and organized, communicating well with other teams and leadership, and delivering projects on time at a high-quality standard.
  • Demonstrates the ability to connect quickly with others, clearly communicate, build relationships, and lead others is important for the initiatives and impact this role will deliver.
  • Demonstrates the ability to manage and take action on a wide variety of simultaneous projects is critical for success. Must have strong collaboration skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of these (or similar) platforms you will work within, including marketing automation platforms (Pardot, Hubspot, Marketo), attribution platforms (Invoca, CallRail, CallTrackingMetrics), Salesforce (our CRM), and WordPress (our website platform) are a plus.
  • Demonstrates the ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion.
