Position SummaryCome join our Taproom Team for the summer as a Seasonal Taproom Associate! This temporary position will be responsible for the on-site guest experience in the brewery and winery taprooms. The main functions of our Taproom Associates are to provide our guests with a hospitable and memorable experience through teamwork and a positive attitude. Taproom Associates are expected to reinforce the brand position and brand strategy through exceptional customer service and attentiveness to a welcoming space. Essential functions include serving guests, cleaning, stocking, and sharing product information. Position Hours: Schedule will vary up to 40 hours per week. Must be willing and able to work nights, weekends, and some holidays Employment for the season will begin in May and end in September. Essential Functions

Bartending
Assist guests with beer and wine ordering
Present beer and wine, ensuring Odell Brewing quality standards
Remain attentive to overall flow and team needs
Wash and maintain glassware standards
Minimize beer, wine, and merchandise loss
Regularly clear and clean tables
During downtime, remain active by completing assigned tasks, including but not limited to:
Ensure the entrance, patio, and floors are clean and organized
Check temperature, lighting, music, cleanliness, bathroom marketing, and overall guest experience throughout the shift
Ensure bathroom cleanliness
General cleaning, stocking, and inventory management
Provide table service as scheduled to promote ticket sales and positive guest experiences
Accurately handle routine purchasing transactions, including operating cash register, POS, opening/closing duties, and updating guest information
Actively support and assist with special events, charitable events, wine club, and e-commerce sales
Draft system maintenance, line-cleaning, and troubleshooting
Conduct fun and informative tastings and/or provide samples to encourage sales
Assist with wine shipping, merchandise sales/stocking and inventory tasks
Assist with, report, and document, as appropriate, problematic guest situations
Willingness to assist with any back of the house needs
Act as liaison for any outside contractors
Conduct fun and informative public tours
This position requires flexibility and willingness to complete other duties, not listed above, as assigned
Experience/Skills Required
Must be 21 years or older
Must be willing and able to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays
Must have at least one year of relevant experience, preferably in a bar or taproom
TIPS certification required or acquired within 3 months of hire
Demonstrated passion and ability to ensure excellent guest experiences
Passionate about Odell’s purpose of building community through beer required
Models and promotes Odell culture and values
Demonstrated positive, motivated, hardworking, and collaborative attitude
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Knowledgeable about craft beer and wine a plus
Draft system maintenance, line-cleaning, or troubleshooting experience is a plus
Physical Requirements
Ability to work long hours on your feet
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and move up to 160 lbs
Ability to work in a hot, wet, and loud environment
Ability to crouch, bend, lift, climb stairs, and reach
Ability to remain focused and level-headed under demanding situations
