**Location:** Elkhart, IN

**Job Summary:** The Environment, Health, and Safety Manager is accountable for effective safety compliance and creating and maintaining a positive and safe employee relations environment.

The EHS Manager will oversee two facilities, 10 miles apart. Their team will consist of 2 direct reports, and will report to the General Manager.

**Requirements:**

* Has great enthusiasm and passion for safety with a can-do collaborative attitude and ability to lead his or her team

* 80-90% time spent on the floor; high levels of communication

* Prefer a Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Environment/Health/Safety but not required

* 5 or more years related experience and thorough knowledge of both State and Federal safety, health and environmental regulations in a manufacturing environment.

* Must come from a manufacturing background -- not construction.

* Proven accomplishments from previous employment.

* OSHA audit experience.

* Willingness to learn and grow.

* Able to work flexible hours, willingness to be on call.
