OCT Consulting is an SBA-certified, 8(a) small business management and technology consulting firm that provides support to Federal Government clients.
We provide consulting services in the areas of Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition / Procurement, and Information Technology.
Responsibilities and Duties
OCT currently has an opening for a Jr-level Contract Specialist with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the field of contracting and procurement.
The experience can be either as a federal government employee, a member of the U.S. military, or as a contractor supporting a federal agency.
We are looking for candidates to handle actions related to pre- and post-award contract work in support of contracting officers;
and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
No less than five (5) years of experience in the field of contracting and procurement FOR THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT with a Bachelor’s degree;
FAC-C, DAWIA certification, NCMA certifications is preferred)
Must have in-depth knowledge of and experience with Federal Contracting, such as FAR and other regulations
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Must be able to obtain or retain a Public Trust clearance.
