Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the General Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the retail store. This is a key leadership role that requires strong communication skills, exceptional customer service, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns
- Assist in creating and implementing strategies to meet sales goals and increase profitability
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the General Manager on purchasing decisions
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning
Skills:
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in retail management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in budgeting and financial analysis
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks
- Knowledge of market trends and competition in the retail industry
- Strong mathematical skills for inventory management, pricing, and payroll calculations
- Experience in shift management, including scheduling and employee supervision
