We’re looking for a team player with a positive attitude, strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt and be flexible. You will work alongside the rest of our Benefit Accounts Team to provide administrative support and policy documentation to our partnered carriers, agents and their staff to the groups we service.

No Insurance background or qualifications are required. We provide on the job training, with supportive team members, and career mentorship.

Requirements

 Job Responsibilities:  Work with agents, carriers and fellow team members on the administration of group benefits· Your primary focus market will be groups under 100 lives. 

  • Process new hires, employee terminations, and other enrollment changes
  • Employer and employee changes i.e., address changes, fix errors, etc.
  • Billing issues
  • Accessing ID cards

· Assist agents with accessing policy and employee information · Communicate past-due notices to agents so their clients don’t have a lapse in coverage· Guide agents through the policy renewal process:

  • Annual surveys 
  • Retrieve policy renewals from carrier
  • Negotiate rate relief 
  • Communicate renewal selections and plan amendments
  • Process plan and employer/employee changes for annual open enrollments

· Ensure and maintain agent’s policies, submitted data, and business communications.· Communicate compliance requirements of employers to agents· Work to acquire a general understanding of administering group health insurance and ancillary coverages.· Utilize CRM & Insurance carrier portals used by the Group Department· Create meaningful relationships with agents, carriers and their staff.
