JOB SUMMARY:

Under general supervision by the Vice President, Business Development, the Sr. Financial Analyst provides information, analysis, financial modeling, pricing recommendations and transaction support for solar project financing activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Builds, utilizes, and maintains financial models for solar projects and to evaluate financing structures.
• Performs project financial valuations and provides financial data for the preparation of bids.
• Runs sensitivities and scenarios based on capacity, capacity factor, costs, revenue, regulations and other project inputs.
• Presents analysis and recommendations to executive leadership team.
• Assists with deal structuring and closing activities.
• Performs due diligence on modeling inputs/assumptions.
• Conducts market research and provides information for project financial valuations.
• Performs ad hoc analysis and reporting.
• Additional duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or related academic field
• Five (5) or more years of extensive experience in financial valuation/modeling is required; Preferably in renewable/solar power sector.
• Acceptable knowledge of project financing is required.
• Working knowledge of accounting is required.
• Extensive market research capability/experience is desirable.
• Familiarity with conventional/renewable energy is highly desirable.
• Working knowledge of MACRO/VBA is preferable.
• Good team player and ability to work in a growing team environment.
• Strong analytical, attention to detail, and problem resolution skills
• Self-starter with effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work concurrently on multiple projects.
