This position manages multiple simultaneous projects in all divisions to ensure deliverables within established schedule and budget. Monitor contractor performance in the field to ensure quality of the work and adherence to safety protocols.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Define the scope of the project in collaboration with stakeholders and establish metrics to evaluate the completed project.Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequence and scheduling of the design and construction tasks.Estimate the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project.Procure the necessary resources including selection of design professionals, vendors, purchasing materials and bidding of the construction work in accordance with the Banks Purchasing Policy and Vendor Management Policy.Review contracts, certificates of insurance, payment applications and related project documents in consultation with the Banks counsel.Lead recurring job meetings with design professionals, vendors and contractors to assess progress and resolve issues and distribute meeting notes.Ensure that project personnel adhere to the Banks policies.Execute the project according to the project plan.Develops alternative solutions in response to unanticipated conditions in consultation with project stakeholders.Maintain a complete and accurate file of documents for the project.Communicate effectively with stakeholders on the progress of the project.Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards.Monitor and report on project expenditures and compliance with the approved budget. in accordance with the Banks accounting policies and procedures.Prepare weekly project dashboard reports, including Project Budget vs. Actual, Recent Milestones, Project Schedule, RFIs, Safety Incidents and MBE/WBE participation.Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase.JOB SPECIFICATIONS:Knowledge, Skills & Abilities? Proficient in reading blueprints, specifications and technical materials? Ability to perform construction cost estimating functions.? Strong ability to interface with contractors and vendors.? Familiarity with bid evaluation, product selection, and contract negotiation process.? Intermediate ability or better of MS Office applications.? Proficiency with project management software use such as MS Project.? Exceptional communications, analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience & Education? Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction management, facilities management or related field, or equivalent work experience; advanced degree preferred.? Minimum of 3-5 years' experience leading and managing construction projects.? Relevant certifications, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM), strongly preferred.Internal and External Contacts? Frequent contact with external vendors including construction, HVAC, contractors, service providers, governmental / L&I.Working Conditions/Physical RequirementsOffice and construction worksite environments. Ability to operate computer. Ability to communicate in order to exchange simple to complex information with individuals and groups.
