Job Title: GreensKeeper1
Department: Golf Course Maintenance
Reports To: Superintendent
FLSA Status: Hourly
SUMMARY
Ability to maintain & operate, in a
, fly mowers, weed eaters, hand tools, walking
Gather debris, including Trim around trees and other plantings with weed eater
ma following equipment including: Utility vehicles, fly mowers, weed eaters, hand tools, walking
Top dress greens & tees. Rake sand bunkers. Edge cart paths, Repair ball marks on greens. Repair tee & fairway divots. Remove weeds. Participate in trench excavating, sod laying & removal, grass sprigging, shop cleaning
Ability to understand, interpret and follow instructions from supervisors
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
Trim around trees and other plantings with weed eater
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. The requirements listed below are representatives of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. - Playing knowledge of the game preferred, but not required
- Under supervision
- Works on the diverse range of activities involved in the golf course maintenance and reconstruction
- Operates motorized equipment, trucks, gang mowers
- Familiar with and understands company policies
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Education preferred, but not required. No experience necessary.
LANGUAGE: English or Spanish allowable-ability to understand English
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Basic Mathematical knowledge.
REASONING ABILITY: Average reasoning ability
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION: Valid Drivers License
