Serenity is looking for an organized and detail-orientated Palliative Billing Coordinator to join our team! This role will be responsible for accurate and efficient billing for patients and facilities and insurance verification.

Responsibilities:- Review and analyze medical records and patient information to ensure accurate coding and billing
- Assign appropriate medical codes using ICD-10, ICD-9, and DRG systems
- Verify insurance coverage and process claims for reimbursement
- Communicate with healthcare providers to obtain missing or incomplete documentation
- Collaborate with the billing team to resolve any coding or billing discrepancies
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Stay updated on changes in medical coding guidelines and regulations

Requirements:- Previous experience in medical billing or coding is required
- Proficiency in medical terminology, coding systems, and billing procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing processes
- Knowledge of insurance guidelines and reimbursement processes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
