Ocean Breeze Waterpark is Hiring a Food and Beverage Team Member Near Virginia, VA
- Complete in-person and mobile orders by selecting food items from serving/storage areas, cooking food items, placing them on trays and serving beverages
- Prepare kitchens and condiment stands with necessary items, equipment and products for the day. Restock throughout the day as needed.
- Prepare food for sale at outlets and catered events using flat-top grills, fryers, steam tables, ovens, and additional equipment
- Follow opening and closing procedures in assigned outlet to maintain cleanliness standards
- Maintain a safe work area including handling utensils and equipment
- Maintain a clean serving area by doing dishes, and organizing and removing spills and food scraps
- Assist with catering events, including event setup, clean up and serving of food
- Collect trash at various food outlets and dispose of at the garbage dumpsters
- Follow food handling, sanitation guidelines, and storage regulations
- Cross trained in multiple food and beverage outlets
- Provide superior customer service to all customers in a polite and expedient manner
- Assist customers with questions regarding Ocean Breeze Waterpark
- Follow Park policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to accept guidance and supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and leadership
- Be aware, attentive, and work well with others
- Ability to work in indoor kitchen conditions and outdoor weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection
- Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to 100 pounds, team lift for heavier objects
