Responsibilities

The Sr. Post-Closing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all loan documentation in the loan closing package is complete at the conclusion of the loan closing process. Responsible for ensuring that post-closing documentation pending is received, entered, and properly tracked on the department’s tracking system; the documentation is properly grouped and submitted for scanning and storage; and for the receipt and distribution of all post-closing documentation, including but not limited to recorded documents. Responsible for ensuring all documentation is sent to the File Room staff for scanning and storage. In addition, this position verifies recorded documents, including Title Insurance Policy and/or Endorsements, were recorded in the correspondent County, ensuring the date and time noted on the documents is after the date and time indicated on the recorded documents. Mail out documents for recording, as well as the tracking and following up on pending recorded documents, Title Insurance Policies and other post-closing documents pending from Bank’s Counsel. This position assists with loan related questions and provides guidance to customers and bank employees. Assists the Closing Coordinators, as needed.

Qualifications

• High School and five (5) years of Loan Processing and/or Post-Closing experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have the ability to analyze, problem-shoot and multi-task.
• Experience and familiarity with loan documentation and documents of significance in reviewing real estate title matters.
• A good understanding of financial institution products, i.e, loan operations, loan services, collateral control, escrows, title company or law firm is preferred.
• Must possess good organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in English (bilingual preferred).
• Must have excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Computer proficiency in MS Software (e.g. Excel, Word, and Outlook).
