Occupational Health Center is Hiring a Front Desk Coordinator Near Auburndale, FL

JOB TYPE: FULL TIME

MONDAY - FRIDAY 8am to 5pm (overtime varies)

The Front Desk Coordinators responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming and assisting patients with sign-in/out tasks
  • Entering patient demographics and creating individual routing slips
  • Obtaining all patient/employer billing information
  • Monitoring patient flow by organizing, tracking and communicating with associates
  • Answering phones in a professional manner and routing calls to correct department
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of front desk and lobby at all times
  • Fax, mail and email proper documentation
  • Labeling, filing and routing charts to proper departments
  • Responsible for uploading patient information to web portals
  • Email and verbal correspondence with businesses
  • Responsible for ordering and maintaining office clerical supplies

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:

  • MUST have exceptional attendance and punctuality.
  • MUST have typing skills of 55 wpm
  • Demonstrated ability to establish positive patient rapport and build relationships with patients to ensure repeat business
  • Strong Communication skills oral and written
  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities to guarantee work is accomplished in a timely manner.
  • MUST be comfortable working in a fast paced atmosphere

EDUCATION: High School diploma or GED required

WORK AUTHORIZATION: US required

LANGUAGE: English required
