Responsibilities
OBXtek is currently staffing for an Acquisition Program Analyst , Journeyman to support SAF / AQR, Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Science, Technology and Engineering, at the Pentagon.
AQR serves as the Air Force S&T Executive, Air Force Acquisition Chief Engineer and Technical Authority, the Air Force Corrosion Control and Prevention Executive, Air Force Standardization Executive, and functional manager for the scientist and engineer (S&E) career field.
Develops and implements plans, policies, and procedures for Air Force S&T, laboratory management, technology transition (to include Joint Capability Technology Demonstrations), Technology Cooperation Program, technology transfer, development planning (DP), and experimentation.
AQR establishes engineering policy and guidance for Air Force systems, subsystems, and end-items. Leads the Systems Security Engineering activities that include the identification and protection of critical program information (CPI) and functions, elimination or mitigation of cyber vulnerabilities, and program protection planning.
This position is currently telework eligible due to COVID, with in person meetings happening approximately 3-4 days per week.
When the Pentagon re-opens fully, this position may be 100% onsite.

Qualifications
Active Top Secret-SCI Clearance
Bachelors degree in any discipline.
3-5 year of relevant acquisition experience in a System Program Office and / or HAF required. Experience in the DoD acquisition lifecycle, acquisition strategies, documents, and processes are highly desired.
