Obsidian Therapy Group is Hiring an Office Administration Near Colonial Heights, VA

The part-time role of office administrator within Obsidian Therapy Group presents a diverse and multifaceted opportunity to engage with clinical and administrative staff at all levels to provide mental health care to our patient population and support our organization and its affiliates. We are a small, close knit, and supportive office environment of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) providers and are seeking a candidate that will be comfortable serving with a diverse staff and serving diverse patients. Obsidian Therapy Group is seeking to hire 2 part time professionals.

The position is currently in person though most patients are being seen both in person and via a telehealth platform. This position is responsible for office management which includes reception of clients, helping with administration of various programs and outpatient services, and coordinating and problem solving with our medical biller. Some medical billing experience is preferred. The role also requires a candidate that is very comfortable interacting with patients directly and over the phone to resolve billing, scheduling, and administrative management with the support of the clinical team. The candidate should be able to complete organized patient follow up calls in a timely manner on items related to scheduling, and paperwork needs as directed by our clinical staff.

Qualifications required:

· Associates degree in business administration, or related field
· 3 years office experience

· Some marketing, customer service or human resource experience preferred

· Microsoft Office suite competence

  • Billing, credentialing and insurance competence
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of modern business communication, including style and format of letters, memoranda, minutes, and reports
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
  • Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • No nights
