Job Summary

Obsidian Solutions Group (OSG) is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer I will work directly with the Squadron, Group, Wing, Numbered Air Forces (NAF), and Major Command (MAJCOM) leadership daily to provide direct support to the operation, maintenance, and defense of Air Force, DODIN, and Combatant Command networks. Additionally, the working as a liaison to ensure interests are represented in all aspects of the orders development process.

This effort is to provide professional services and Subject Matter Expertise (SME) support. Cyber Support Services (CSS) is intended to support the development and deployment of cyberspace missions. As the result of this effort will enhance operational effectiveness.

Specific Responsibilities

• Provide direct support for the deployment of all missions to the COCOMs, Air Force units, and DOD partners.
• Work directly with Operations Control to ensure all operations are coordinated through the appropriate units and are carried out in accordance with Air Force, MAJCOM, 16 AF, and client instructions, policies, and procedures.
• Provide analysis and feedback for on-going and planned operations as required with the standard of initiating work for analysis and expert advice of no later than 24 hours for all work.
• Provide courses of action for unique or time-constrained activities to assist in achieving mission success.
• Coordinate and provide support to Squadron Commanders and Group Leadership to ensure missions proceed; assistance provided as required.
• Participate in conferences, meetings, and symposiums as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or related experience
• Subject Matter Expertise within DoD, Air Force, Cyberspace Defense
• Five (5) or more years of cumulative experience in cybersecurity discipline to include: network operations, systems analysis, risk management, requirements analysis and reporting.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Normal office environment
• Ability to lift up-to 20 lbs.
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 0800 – 1600 HRS
• Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand

Travel

• Travel may be required as part of mission requirements
• Will provide support to meetings, forums, conferences, and site visits, CONUS or OCONUS
