Oberstar, Inc. is seeking a dependable and motivated individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work as part of a team and independently as job tasks change. They must be able to prioritize tasks and must have good time management and communication skills.

Job responsibilities include:

Construction staking

Topographic surveys

Setting horizontal and vertical project control

Supporting grading crew using machine control

Adjusting grade control models to fit field conditions using Trimble Business Center

Assisting grading crew as needed

Two or more years of construction staking experience and knowledge of Trimble GPS equipment is preferred. Experience in the heavy civil construction industry will be considered. Must have basic math skills including calculating slopes and volumes.
