Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their safety, well-being, and overall quality of life.
Duties:
- Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health conditions
- Assist with transportation to appointments, community outings, and recreational activities
- Implement individualized care plans and document progress
- Promote independence and encourage skill development
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment
Qualifications:
- Experience in senior care, hospice care, or patient care is preferred
- Knowledge of systems for lifting and transferring individuals with mobility limitations
- Familiarity with dementia care techniques is a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities
