Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and creative Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring high-quality culinary experiences for our staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong understanding of nutrition, and an understanding food allergies. Duties: - Create and execute menus that showcase culinary creativity and meet the needs of our guests - Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including portion control, cooking techniques, and presentation - Manage inventory levels and ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients -Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations - Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality - Stay updated on industry trends and new culinary techniques Qualifications: - Previous experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry - Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team - Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and flavors - Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Skills: - Team management - Restaurant experience - Food safety knowledge - Bartending skills - Hospitality mindset - Shift management abilities - Culinary expertise - Food service management experience - Banquet planning skills We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
