We are looking for well-trained and skilled caretakers to ensure all individuals receive personal care and supervision.

**Job Summary**

We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in need, promoting their independence and well-being. The role involves fostering a positive and inclusive environment, assisting or superivising daily activities, and helping individuals develop social and life skills.

**Duties**

- Personal Care and Assistance: Assist individuals with daily living activities to include hands on assistance with personal care, housekeeping tasks, and social skills.

- Medication Management: Administer and/or monitor individuals medications schedules, ensuring compliance and proper documentation.

- Emotional/Behavorial Support: Offer support, active listening, and guidance to individuals. Manage challenging behaviors through compassionate and effective de-escalation techniques.

- Community Integration: Facilitate social and recreational activities, outings, and events. Transportation of residents to appointments and documentation of all services provided.

- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of individuals' progress, incidents, and any changes in their physical or mental health.

- Team Collaboration: Attend team meetings and training sessions as required, provide input into care plan development, and ensure implementation of the care plans.

**Requirements**

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Valid drivers license and safe driving record.

• First Aid/CPR *Will provide this training if needed*

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
