REPORTS TO: Property Manager

JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for the leasing of all apartments, including, but not limited to, prospect residents and phone calls. Also responsible for miscellaneous clerical duties and providing support to office personnel.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in preparation and implementation of marketing campaign to effectively market apartments.

• Assist all residents, such as with work order requests, leasing information, etc.

• Qualifies, demonstrates and leases apartments in accordance with Fair Housing guidelines.

• Assists in routine inspection/upkeep of model apartment, target apartments and marked ready apartments.

• Assists in routine inspection/upkeep of model apartment, target apartments and market readies.

• Processes rental applications and prepares lease forms and reports according to property guidelines.

• Conducts follow-up calls and traffic documentation on all prospects.

• Assists in the preparation of regular market surveys to evaluate property position within the marketplace.

• Assists in the monitoring of rent schedules on a regular basis.

• Maintains property files, records, and reports according to company standards.

• Assists in lease renewal program to maximize resident retention.

• Assists in the area of resident relations.

• Maintains inter-and intradepartmental workflow by fostering a sprit of cooperation.

• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.

• Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

• Other duties as directed by management.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Highschool Diploma or GED

• Preferred previous sales experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Professional phone manner and pleasing personality and the ability to
  interact with people.

• Demonstrated computer skills.

• Preferred prior leasing/real estate knowledge and/or job related experience.

• Current and valid driver’s license.

• Organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills necessary to provide clerical and administrative support.
