What will you do in this role?
As the State Manager Responsible for management of Escrow staff in one or more states. The role will also be responsible for the following:
  • Includes training and directing the operations of escrow officers, escrow accountants, and processors/closing assistants, conducting file audits and correcting file shortages, overage and claims as necessary.
  • Understanding of escrow accounting function and ability to analyze and correct same as necessary.
  • Staff coaching and preparation of PMPs are also needed as well as scheduling of time off for department employees.
  • Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor team members in multiple locations, ensuring a consistent level of excellence and professionalism.
  • Customer Experience: Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to ensure a seamless and exceptional customer experience across all state markets.
You Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience within the title insurance industry, focusing on multi-state operations.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
  • Desire to coach and teach, positive attitude, team player, and self-starter
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Familiarity with title insurance software and technology.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.
You Might Also Have:
  • Ability to perform essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly
