Network Engineer

We are currently seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our team in Kansas City. This position will require onsite presence three days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely on the remaining days. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in SolarWinds and SD-WAN technologies, with a focus on providing Level 3 support.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 3 support for network infrastructure, troubleshooting, and resolving complex issues efficiently.
• Design, implement, and maintain network solutions utilizing SolarWinds and SD-WAN technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network performance, reliability, and security.
• Conduct regular network assessments, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions accordingly.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in network engineering.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of X years of experience in network engineering roles, with a focus on SolarWinds and SD-WAN.
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SNMP.
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools, preferably SolarWinds.
• Familiarity with software-defined networking (SDN) concepts and SD-WAN technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, SolarWinds Certified Professional) are a plus.
