Youth Mentors offers in-community and in-home mentoring (DCPP open case required for mentoring) and 1:1 educational support to youth in southern New Jersey with special emotional needs and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate behaviorally specific interventions with consumers in conjunction with participation in recreational and social activities
• Reinforce daily livings skills to children ages 1-18
• Complete all necessary program and Agency paperwork in a thorough, timely and professional manner
• Tutor and provide supportive counseling for families and children living within Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Cumberland, Cape May, Salem, and Atlantic Counties

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma with experience with children (e.g. coaching, tutoring, and/or summer camp counselor).
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include weekends, in order to adapt to the family’s and child’s needs.
• Seeking enthusiastic and energetic individuals who have experience working with children.
• Valid drivers license in good standing required.
