Job Title: Housekeeping Person
Days/Hours: Days/Hours: Night Shift Will vary - 5 days a week. *** Must be flexible on schedule to include weekends. ***
JOB QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:
- Previous 1 year housekeeping/janitorial/building services in hotel/restaurant experience preferred.
- Ability to complete assigned tasks without close supervision.
- Willingness to help in all areas of the Clubhouse.
- Ability to communicate over the radio in English. Must be able to speak, read and understand English.
- Ability to always understand and follow all safety related rules while doing assigned tasks.
- Ability to handle the physical aspects of the job, long periods of standing, lifting, bending, twisting, etc.
- Self-Time Management Skills.
- Must be able to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.

JOB DUTIES
- Keep Clubhouse areas inside and out, clean and stocked on an on-going basis throughout the shift and as scheduled or instructed by Maintenance Management.
- Clean (and stock if necessary) the employee areas throughout the shift and as scheduled or instructed by Maintenance Management.
- Follow instructed procedures for entering restrooms when occupied by Members, guests, and employees.
- If instructed perform basic maintenance such as change light bulb, batteries for the TV remote control, set up / take down of lights, AV equipment, etc.
- Adhere to the Housekeeping Department procedures for reporting maintenance problems found inside and outside grounds of the Clubhouse.
- Adhere to the Country Club’s Key Control policy when handling your issued pass key card and other hard keys issued.
- Adhere to the Country Club’s lost and found procedures in finding items in Member, guest, and employee areas.
- Adhere to the Country Club’s two-way radio procedures when talking on the radio. Follow procedure for checking out and returning the radio. Wear the radio on designated channel for receiving radio contact.
- Keep designated storage areas clean and orderly and follow instructions for stocking supply closets.
- Complete any special projects as given by the Maintenance Management.
- Follow instructions in use of all chemicals and cleaning agents, including the use of personal protective equipment.
- Follow all Clubhouse and department safety rules as instructed by manager or Safety Director. Report any safety hazard immediately.
- Driver utility cart in safe manner to carry / deliver debris / supplies, etc.
- Other duties as assigned which may include performing duties other than those listed in this position description in the Housekeeping department or other department in the Country Club.
