Who we are:

Oakley Home Access is a Home Safety Team of experts that include a registered & licensed Occupational Therapist & Contractor in Connecticut, setting out to achieve Fall Prevention, increased Accessibility, & Aging-In-Place.

We assist a wide array of community members ranging from children with special needs to the elderly striving to age-in-place. ​Common modifications and services utilized include:

• Stair Lifts
• Wheelchair Ramps
• Shower/Bathtubs
• Grab Bars
• Stairway Handrails
• Custom Entrance Railings

We offer adaptive equipment to assist mobility throughout the entire home and can provide home safety services inclusive of home remodels.

Jobsite Duties:

• Install Durable Medical Equipment independently
• Install replacement Shower/Tub systems
• Install Wooden handrails and aluminum/wooden/vinyl railings
• Successfully complete StairLift Installation & Servicing Training Certification program
• Install Stair Lifts independently with an assistant
• Install Aluminum Modular Ramps
• Install CleanCut Tub Cut

Supplemental Duties:

• Complete Misc Home Office Modification and Van Tools and Equipment organization
• Attend (overnight) paid training courses.
• Attend trade shows & conferences as continuing education & skill development activities.
• Purchase job-related materials as needed

Qualifications:

• Must demonstrate skills in Hands-On Interview (Hand Tools, Carpentry, Drywall, & Fiberglass applications)
• Working knowledge of common power hand tools
• Must have reliable transportation to and from home office. Valid CT, NY or RI drivers license.
• Must be willing to travel to client home locations to perform onsite installations throughout the State of CT.
• Clean Driver’s License
• Exhibit firm grasp of the company’s values & goals and exhibit ability to carry them out in professional manner
• Prompt & Reliable. Ability To Arrive on Time
• Ability to occasionally Lift up to 75 pounds
• Agreeable to General Background Check
• Exhibit tact & respect for elderly & disabled population. Occasional cordial interaction with clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

• OHA is requiring all employees to travel to the home office each day to prepare work vehicles and inventory for the day. Once prepared, are you willing to commute in company vehicles to client locations (thoughout CT) from our OHA home base?
