Responsibilities/Qualifications

Oakleigh of Macomb Senior Living Facility is looking for an individual to work in our Maintenance department with the skill and passion to assist with keeping our facility looking beautiful and safe for our residents. This will be accomplished by completing your tasks in a cheerful, timely manner and by communicating with others to attain goals.

This is a full-time position!

Requirements:

• Must be able to multi-task, work politely with senior residents, work with multiple tools, troubleshoot problems. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Handling minor repairs particularly relating to the repair of bathroom and kitchen equipment, changing light bulbs, and general maintenance.
• Assisting with miscellaneous tasks related to the visual appearance and upkeep of the property.
• Able to work with all levels of staff and keep the facility director informed of any maintenance issues or occurrences.
• Must be able to perform duties under minimal supervision.
• Project-based experience a plus. Working around the senior population is a plus.
