- Coordinate the screening and admission of clients to the appropriate Oaklawn program(s), helping with appropriate community referrals when needed.
- Act as the initial contact for many clients seeking services at the Access Center by person and occasionally by phone.
- Complete intake paperwork and orients clients to Oaklawn services and the intake process.
- Assist in processing inpatient inquiries from community partners for client admission into Oaklawn's inpatient unit in Goshen.
- Manage communication around potential inpatient client and pertinent Oaklawn and hospital staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services field preferred. One year experience preferred with Bachelor degree.
- Without Bachelor degree, experience to equate to 4 years of combined education and experience in a mental health, social services or other healthcare or related setting required.
