We are looking for an energetic math teacher who enjoys creative a safe and positive learning environment for students and pushes students to reach high levels of academic achievement. We use a curriculum called Open Up, which is common-core aligned and rigorous.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Maintain a positive culture in the classroom.
• Maintain positive relationships with other staff.
• Motivate students to grow and succeed.
• Achieve demonstrable growth in student academic skills.
• Problem solve with colleagues on any issues that arise with students.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• College credits in math
• Live in the Bay Area of Northern California
• Track record of being professional (punctual, consistent, efficient)
• Positive and solution-oriented

Desired Qualities

• CA Credential in any subject (single or multiple subject)
• Language skills in Spanish, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Arabic

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
