Position Summary:

We are seeking a friendly barista to join our team. In this position, you will prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages. Our baristas are also in charge of retail sales of coffee accessories, which are also sold in our store. Our baristas are enthusiastic about coffee and maintain a high standard of execution. You should make the customer feel welcome and important at all times.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide excellent customer service in a clean and welcoming environment
• Make and serve specialty coffee beverages.
• Provide excellent customer service in a clean and welcoming environment
• Taking orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios)
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Adhere to recipes and presentations for beverage items
• Contribute to a positive work environment
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs

Minimum Skills and Qualifications:

• At least 1 year in the coffee service industry
• 2 years in the customer service industry
• Experienced and comfortable with working busy shifts
• Friendly, outgoing, and dedicated to outstanding customer service
• Tidy and self-disciplined
• Detail oriented and passionate about product quality
