Lead the Way in Senior Care: Director of Resident Care Needed at Seneca Place!

Seneca Place, a premier senior living community, is seeking a dedicated and visionary Director of Resident Care to join our leadership team! In this pivotal role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the health, well-being, and comfort of our residents by overseeing all aspects of our clinical care services.

What You'll Do:

• Provide strong clinical leadership and direction for the nursing department, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.
• Develop and implement quality care initiatives to enhance resident care outcomes.
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans for residents.
• Ensure effective communication between residents, families, and staff members.
• Monitor resident health and well-being, identifying and addressing any potential concerns promptly.
• Lead continuous quality improvement efforts within the nursing department.
• Manage the department budget and resources effectively.
• Champion a positive and collaborative work environment for the nursing team.

Who You Are:

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where Seneca Place operates.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior living or long-term care setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong clinical expertise and a deep understanding of senior care needs.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record systems (EHRs).
• A passion for providing exceptional care and making a positive difference in the lives of seniors.
