The Utility Woker’s role encompasses a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to janitorial, housekeeping, and event/room set-up tasks, as directed by either the Event Operations Manager, Assistant Event Operations Manager and/or the Event Operations Supervisors. In addition to these core duties, utility workers may be tasked with maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in MBCC, ensuring the proper disposal of waste, replenishing cleaning supplies, and promptly addressing any cleanliness-related concerns. They may also collaborate with other team members to support the seamless execution of events, ensuring that venues are set up and arranged according to specified guidelines. The utility worker is expected to contribute to the overall functionality and visual appeal of the facilities they service, playing a vital role in creating a welcoming and organized environment.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $16.

Incumbents in this position work in varying settings and will be subject to noise and atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odor, dust, etc.
