Oak View Group is Hiring an Operations/Changeover Coordinator| Blue Arena Near Loveland, CO

Overview

Under the direction of the Operation Manager the Operations/Changeover Coordinator, coordinates and supervises the set-up and operations of buildings, equipment, and grounds for the assigned facility; oversee all building housekeeping while providing highly responsible staff assistance. Supervise part-time operations/housekeeping staff and in consultation with the Director of Operations and Operations Manager has the authority to make recommendations for hiring and firing of employees.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $24.00 to $25.25.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and work with Operation Manager on scheduling all part-time conversion support staff.
  • Under the direction of Operations Manager train, motivate and evaluate part-time staff.
  • Coordinate, Plan and Supervise part-time work assignments.
  • Daily organization, setup/tear down and cleaning of the facility to include lobbies, hallways, offices, restrooms, locker rooms, meeting rooms, restaurant, etc.
  • Assist in the coordination and supervision and completion of facility housekeeping during times of facility need.
  • Operate machinery as required including Forklifts, Scrubbers, Sweepers, Ice Resufacers, Skid Steers, etc.
  • Work directly with Operations Manager to schedule and facilitate the smooth operation of the department.
  • Perform general preventative maintenance, upkeep, painting, and ability to make minor repairs to facility, equipment, and grounds.
  • Participate in event duty rotation.
  • Work closely with part-time employees and contract labor to ensure the facility is properly maintained before, during and after events.
  • Assist Operations Manager in monitoring supply inventory.
  • Follow building programs and guidelines.
  • Follow safety requirements and environmental regulations.
  • Control janitorial supply inventory.
  • Maintain all MSDS books and keep them up to date.
  • Work side by side with part time staff, contract staff, and independent contractors as required.
  • Report and fill out proper forms on safety hazards and accidents.
  • Communicate departmental information within the organization as appropriate.
  • Maintain a high spirit of morale throughout the department.
  • Set an example of professionalism and courtesy within the working environment.
  • Provide assistance to The Ranch as needed.
  • Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

  • Degree preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of two (2) years in building operations experience including one year of event changeover work.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills, with a willing and pleasant attitude.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in the English language
  • Experience in the repair and maintenance of related systems.
  • Familiarity with OSHA requirements
  • Must be able to take direction, prioritize assignments, and give tasks to employees.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended number of consecutive days.
  • Proficient computer skills including knowledge of windows-based computers and the internet.
  • Ability to work independently, but still as a part of the overall team atmosphere helping promoters, tenants, clients, co-workers, and managers as required.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a live event environment.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License
