Our high end boutique salon is currently offering a station for rent. We are looking for experienced candidates that not only provide top-level services, but are also driven to excel in the industry. This is an excellent chance to create your own business within our established Oribe salon, providing a unique and personalized experience for your clients.

As a salon station renter, you will have the freedom to run your own business, and make your own hours, while benefiting from the support and amenities of our luxury salon. We are located in downtown Los Gatos, in a prime location with high foot traffic, and ample free parking. Towel service included with rent as well as extensive Oribe product knowledge training and access to exclusive continuing education classes. The station is equipped with a high end salon chair, anti fatigue mat, wall mounted hot tool holder, floating station with oversized mirror, additional trolly for extra supplies storage, locker in back color bar room, access to Oribe backbar, 10% commission for product sales, and complementary hot and cold beverages for clients (nespresso, le crox, still water, juices, sodas etc.) In addition, we will be there to assist you with any administrative tasks we can and provide a welcoming environment for both you and your clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional hair services to clients
• Maintain a clean and organized station
• Helping to keep the salon a clean, sanitary and aesthetically pleasing environment
• Manage client bookings and appointments efficiently
• Uphold a high level of customer service, ensuring client satisfaction
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques
• Promote and market your services to attract and retain clients
• Collaborate with other salon professionals to create a positive and cohesive salon environment

Requirements

• Valid hairstyling or barber license
• Proven experience as a hairstylist or barber
• Strong technical skills in cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Knowledge of current hairstyling and barbering trends
• Reliable and professional demeanor

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $150.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 50 per week
