OS&D Supervisor This newly created position will report to the Claims and OS&D Manager and will work directly with the OS&D Clerks at the terminals. This position will have oversight of the OS&D process and will play a key role in developing training & communications for our teams based on root cause investigations. The OS&D Supervisor will travel up to 25% of the time to our terminals in our seven state footprint. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Lead the OS&D Team through daily communication and supportIdentify training opportunities for the team membersMake recommendations of updates to current OS&D processes, policies, and structure.Identify patterns and inconsistencies of claims at the terminal levelLead high dollar claim investigations to identify root causesParticipate in the “Major Accident” response teamLearn and stay current on the Claims process and affect of OS&D on claims Create and distribute Monthly “Claims Prevention” flyers/marketing.Lead training or provide training materials for Dock and Driver claim prevention training topicsManage or assist with special projects Knowledge, Skills and Experience:Minimum 1 year of LTL transportation experience requiredClaims and/or OS&D Experience or knowledge is highly desiredMust be detailed oriented with the ability to detect errors, investigate problems, and seek appropriate clarification and resolutionExcellent analytical ability and process development skillsMust have strong multi-tasking and organizational skillsPossess excellent oral and written communication skillsRequires world class customer relations skills Benefits:Medical, dental, vision – You choose which plan suits you and our family.Single person pays 0% up to 2% of gross income.Entire family pays 0% up to 4% of gross income.401K – 100% match up to 5% of Employees Contribution.Holiday pay after your 90 days.Cell phone stipend.Company Paid Life Insurance. http://www.oakharborbenefits.com/full-time-regular-employees.htmlOak Harbor is an Equal Opportunity Employer
