Position Summary:
The Purchasing Manager is responsible for complete oversight and management of all aspects of purchasing for assigned locations to improve product costs while maximizing margins optimize and maintain strong supplier relationships. He or she will work with the management to identify and execute on cost savings opportunities, including supplier selections, negotiating into stock costs, customer specific costs and supplier programs.
