Welcome to Oak Bay Brewery - Cape Cod's newest craft brewery / cafe located on Main Street in Hyannis, MA!

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Beertender to join our team! As a Beertender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our guests. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, serving a variety of craft beers to our patrons.

Duties:

• Greet and welcome customers, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere
• Educate customers about different beer styles, flavors, and brewing processes
• Assist customers in making beer selections based on their preferences
• Pour and serve beers accurately and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and restaurant area
• Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system
• Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or the restaurant industry is preferred
• Knowledge of different beer styles and brewing processes is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating bills
• Ability to handle food safely and follow proper hygiene practices
• Current TIPS certification
• Great sense of humor
• Strong work ethic
