Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced 3rd Shift CNC Operator to join our team at our facility in Indianapolis, IN, 46236. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various CNC machines including laser cutters, plasma cutters, mills, waterjets, and manual machining tools. This is a 3rd shift position, offering competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain CNC machines such as laser cutters, plasma cutters, mills, waterjets, and manual machining tools
- Perform machine setups for production runs
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during production
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating CNC machines, including laser cutters, plasma cutters, mills, waterjets, and manual machining tools
- Proficient in machine setups for production runs
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming and operation
- Familiarity with machine brands such as Haas, Fanuc, Mazak, and Trumpf
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work the 3rd shift schedule
