O’Melveny has an immediate opening for a Real Estate Project Specialist. This role can be based out of any of our US offices and will support the Managing Director of Real Estate in order to effectively manage the Firm’s Real Estate portfolio.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Management of the lease database and all data and documents related to the Firm’s real estate portfolio
• Prepare and develop occupancy budget
• Monthly review of variance reports and follow up
• Ensure review of landlords’ billing of operating and real estate escalations are conducted annually and oversee any follow up required
• Review of costs and depreciation of leasehold improvements, furniture and equipment
• Update various schedules and reports to manage portfolio
• Analyze metrics and trends
• Stay abreast of current and new real estate processes, tools, technologies, and market trends as they relate to Firm real estate
• Stay abreast of design and construction trends, approaches, and processes
• In coordination with the Managing Director, participate in or lead firmwide real estate projects (e.g. office relocations, renovations, and expansions)
• Manage all subleases
• Oversee the Firm’s space management system and research new tools to effectively manage space utilization
• Complete special projects regarding various real estate issues, as needed
