Core Responsibilities
Identify and mine reliable internal and external data sources
Design custom tools to optimize data mining, cleaning, validation and analysis
Collaborate with colleagues in other departments to improve business outcomes
Develop and apply custom data models and algorithms to datasets
Develop tools and testing models to ensure data accuracy
Create and present reports and visualizations that detail your findings, recommendations and solutions
Closely monitor and alert on key performance metrics tracked through developed and existing reports
Required Skills and Qualifications
3 Years experience in data science or analyst role
Bachelor’s degree in data science, math, statistics or related field required. Master’s degree preferred
3 years experience using advanced programming language such as: C, C , Java, JavaScript, Python, R, or SQL
Experience with report development in PowerBI, Tableau or similar tool
Proficient technical writing and communication skills
Familiarity with machine learning techniques and appropriate application
Familiarity with statistical and data mining techniques and appropriate application
Strong problem-solving skills
