Also, will be involved in organizing and executing hot holds, startup and shutdown related activities.Will work in shifts, ensuring the uninterrupted operation of the submerged combustion melting machine, the finer, the forehearth, and the support systems, including, among others, exhaust, cooling and batch systems.Additionally will give support to other Plant areas whenever is needed, following our culture of teamwork and collaboration.Key Responsabilities:Responsible for raw material unloading, monitoring raw material weight system, and assuring the correct delivery to melter.Will monitor the fusion process and make appropriate changes based on the situation.Respond to alarms and identify malfunctions, correct operation and/or refer to supervision.Troubleshooting minor problems with industrial equipment and perform routine preventive maintenance.Perform quality glass controls and enter data into the correct quality spreadsheet.Collaborate with teammates on completing non-routine tasks related to, hot holds, start-ups and shut-downs.Produce accurate and concise system status reports as requested.Think analytically and propose process improvements.Perform daily line cleaning and 5S to maintain a clean working environment.Monitor the feeding process and respond to alarms as required. Travel Requirements:Travel up to 50% during the initial month of training.
