Job Description

Job Change Coordinator

The Job Change Coordinator will have an impact on job change efficiency, plant revenue, machine downtime, and the overall plant budget. This is a dual-role, responsible for both the Brockway and Crenshaw plant locations.

The Job Change Coordinator will:

• Manage and improve the job change efficiency and process to increase plant revenue.
• Recommend and implement initiatives that will improve productivity and quality.
• Establish training programs and effective job change meeting structure.
• Optimize scheduling of preventative maintenance during job changes to maximize production.
• Perform root-cause analysis to resolve issues and problems.
• Communicate metrics and goals to the plant teams.

The Job Change Coordinator should have:

• Ability to lead efforts to improve safety during job change activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a lean manufacturing environment or using Lean Six Sigma tools.
• Strong background in process improvement.
• On-call availability to support 24/7 operations and weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required, Bachelor degree in Engineering preferred
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment that does job changes
• Glass manufacturing experience preferred
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP, with the ability to learn new systems and programs

What we offer at O-I:

Salary Range: The expected salary range for this position is between $75,000 - $95,000 and includes a possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
