Job Summary:
O'Connor Chiropractic with 30 years serving the San Francisco north bay community is seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in Chiropractic and Regenerative medical settings. This is a paid position that offers a unique opportunity for growth and professional development leading potentially to a Practice Manager's position.

Duties:
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures (Laser, PEMF, Regenerative Medicine, etc.)
- Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant patient information
- Perform basic laboratory tests

-Prepare treatment rooms and ensure cleanliness and organization
- Greet patients, and assist with scheduling appointments, managing patient records, collect and post payments, and maintaining accurate documentation
- Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing support

- Order supplements and related saleable items, and manage inventory

Experience:
- 5 years previous experience in a medical or chiropractic office multitasking amongst different office disciplines. ... hospital medicine, internal medicine, urgent care, or medical-surgical settings is preferred
- Proficiency in performing X-Ray procedures is a plus
- Knowledge of geriatrics, physiology, medical terminology, and patient service best practices is highly desirable
