We are looking for a self-starter/self-motivated Legal Assistant/Secretary. This position will provide a broad spectrum of legal services.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the office
• Handle communication with clients, witnesses, courts, etc.
• Edit correspondence, pleadings, and status reports
• Answer and direct phone calls
• Monitor deadlines and heavy calendars

Skills

• Proven working experience as legal assistant or legal secretary
• Familiarity with law, legal procedures and protocols, and court system
• Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office
• Computer literacy, especially Word and Outlook
• Proficiency in English
• Excellent secretarial and organizational skills
• Ability to juggle multiple activities

Pay starts at $25.00 per hour with potential for higher depending on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Associate (Preferred)
